Opened the Pool, Temporarily

We opened the pool and let the kids go in. Well, once. It was 70 degrees (brrrr), but I told them, it's still warmer than the lake, and they were determined to try it. For some reason, they haven't been asking to go back. That might simply be due to the thousands of mosquitoes that are hanging around this wet, cold spring (that has lasted all the way through the month of June). This is Wynn's first time in our pool. (Come, ON, summer! I don't want it to be the last time this year!)

With Mandy's encouragement, it does look like she enjoyed herself!
