Book Recommendation

This is a great book for anyone interested in international or older child adoption.  

An-Ya is 11 years old and has just been adopted from a Chinese orphanage and come to an American home.  An-Ya writes with a child's voice, vocabulary, and pacing (which is a tribute to the author), so it can be quickly read.  There's a lot of emotion behind the deceptively simple words as An-Ya tells a story in which complexity hides behind the sentences.
