Bulldogs Bring Us Together :)

Most 14 year old girls would prefer to avoid the nightmare of being dressed like their mothers. Wynn likes it when several (or all of us, during basketball season) dress alike or match in some way. I have read that it is common among adoptees as they are discovering and exploring where they fit it and how well they belong. Wynn came into my room this morning and asked me to wear a Gonzaga Bulldogs shirt. I put on a blue Zags shirt and was quickly corrected and instructed to wear RED like hers. So here we are, dressed alike and belonging to each other!

  3. I'm home about 6 months with my almost 3 year old boy from Kunming, and have loved following your journey with Wynn. I haven't checked the blog in awhile, and I was astonished by her transformation. Our son was not at all happy to be adopted, and has come along way adjusting to his new family and all of the changes in his life. I can't imagine how hard it must have been for a teenager; Wynn is a special girl and it's great to see her shine. I hope your family continues to be blessed - Laura
