I have blogged about the difficulties we've had the past couple of days for three main reasons.
The first is for those who stumble across this blog who are adopting or considering adoption of older children. I hope that this can help prepare them for what they might encounter. I also hope that any such people who find their way here will stick around to see that it will indeed work out!
The second is to document the memories. We will be able to look back and remember these days and smile and say, "Wow. That was Wynn?!"
The third is so that my mom and my sister, who know that I was born with Dad's patience, will know to say extra prayers for my patience and peace through God.
I do not have any doubts, qualms, or questions that this adoption was divinely orchestrated and is in Our Father's hands. My heart hurts from being rejected, and my heart hurts for Wynn. I love this girl already - her bravery, her spunk, her determination. I just don't know how to let her know.
Agape. Love is a choice and demonstrated through action. Our Lord is in charge.
