The province is too big for tourists to be able to see the traditional housing and dress of all the minorities, so they built miniature "villages" for many different minorities all in one place for tourism convenience. Oh, and education. The people actually live here, on display, so that tourists can come see them. I kind of felt like it was a zoo. Dehumanizing, somehow. I can just hope that it leads to income and livelihood for families who need. The village, however, is in a beautiful location.

Mom struck out again in the furry animal department. Wynn was not interested in kittens. |
Nor did she want to ride the elephant! |
Very cool - hand making swords out of red-hot metal. (No, Conor, they were not for sale here.) |
Wynn interacting with little ones - always - and to the point of interference. Hard to explain to her that she's no longer the caretaker, and their Mom and Dad need to fill that role, especially for the new little one whose priority goal is bonding with his parents. |

Don't you wish we had THESE at home?! |
