Some Rearranging Was Necessary

Well, the best laid plans . . . I based my assumptions about Wynn's room layout based on the dimensions of Cameron and Gabrian's loft beds. Hers turned out to be a touch shorter and a touch wider. Two minor-but irritating after all the planning- problems: The desk does not fit under the bed, and the bed managed to cover both outlets that we planned and wired so carefully!

Now, we could make Cameron or Gabrian trade beds with her, but neither of them thought that was a good idea, so we moved on to plan B. (Besides, we didn't really want to move giant furniture around, especially up and down the stairs.) So . . .

. . . the cubbies were disassembled, reconfigured, and fit nicely (though not easily) under the loft bed.

The desk now goes in the corner under the camelia picture I love.

It looks very nice except for the power strip behind the desk reaching over to the outlet behind the bedpost! lol
