Initially, this wasn't going to be the red wall, but I'm glad we went this way. I think the white door looks good (though overexposed in this pic), and it helped break up what turned out to be a pretty intense wall color!
Turning clockwise, she gets a narrow closet long enough to house a dresser.
Her dad had the idea of painting the back of the closet red, which turned out looking nice.
Another clockwise turn, and there are cubbies to house treasures and keepsakes. The picture (weird shadow makes it look like it's balanced on the cubbies instead of suspended on the wall) is of camellias. A camellia is the flower of Kunming City - just like our girl. (I know. So corny.)
This empty corner will have a loft bed with a desk beneath . . . someday soon.
And this beautiful bedding will go with it.
